The Triangle Scarf

This is the Triangle Scarf from The Knit Stitch. I started this sucker on about November 19, 2004 and finished it on December 7, 2004. It's a quick knit and easy as well. You start with 2 stitches and increase from there. I'm using Caron Simply Soft in Brocade Print. The only gripe I have with this pattern is that by the time you finish with the increases, you are doing about 200 stitches in garter stitch over and over to widen the 'scarf' part of the pattern. It's a little tedious. This is going to be part of an Xmas present for my BF's mom.

Clapotis!

Clapotis. Started Oct. 18; Finished Nov. 5th. Could have been done in one week if I hadn't put it down *smile* Yarn = Plymouth Encore on size 9 needles. Verdict = Love it!

Derby Poncho - Started 10-23; Finished 10-25

Here is my first "official" finished object. It is the Derby Poncho from Morehouse Farm. I really like the way it turned out. This was made with Classic Elite Tweed '03 held doubled throughout on size 11 circulars. It took about 3 days total to complete. This would make an excellent Xmas gift for someone. I plan to make another for myself using Patons classic wool and I'll probably make another for my sister out of homespun for Xmas.

Finished Objects Blog

You have now reached my new finished object page. I have some things to post on here today, but I can't do it right now because I'm at work and the pictures are still on my camera *smile*. I'm hoping this will keep my main blog page a little less content heavy by putting some pictures on this page and my spinning objects page. Check back later for some actual content.
